Peak Design Expands Collection With Wireless Charging Accessories
Peak Design is expanding its product ecosystem with a new line of wireless chargers, travel batteries, and power adapters built with premium materials. The collection features advanced charging standards, including what the company claims is the world's first Qi2.3-certified wireless travel battery.
Known primarily for its travel bags and carbon-fiber tripods, Peak Design has announced an expansion into premium wireless charging accessories. The newly revealed lineup includes a Qi2.3-certified travel battery, a multi-device charging station, a slim gallium nitride wall adapter, and durable USB-C cables. According to CEO and founder Peter Dering, the collection aims to challenge the industry standard of disposable, cheap electronics by pairing high-end construction materials with innovative functionality. The accessories are priced for the premium market and are rolling out to customers starting in November.
The Evolution of Peak Design Hardware
Peak Design has built a devoted following around hard-wearing backpacks and clever camera gear. The company is now applying its design philosophy to everyday power accessories and cables.
Founder Peter Dering noted that everyday tech accessories have leaned toward cheap and disposable options, prompting the firm to engineer a collection focused on premium construction and longevity.
Premium Build Materials
Utilizing machined anodized aluminum, die-cast zinc, and robust housing to elevate standard travel tech.
Ecosystem Expansion
Moving beyond bags and tripods into phone stands, multi-device chargers, and power delivery cables.
Wireless Kickstand Travel Battery Features
The $99.95 Wireless Kickstand Travel Battery wraps a 5,000mAh capacity cell inside a magnetic, machined anodized aluminum housing. It includes a matching folding kickstand to support devices in various viewing angles.
While typical 5,000mAh cells cannot safely deliver higher speeds wirelessly, this unit supports the Qi2.3 standard. It can charge compatible devices at 25W when connected to an external USB power source, while maxing out at 15W on battery power alone.
Qi2.3 Standard
Enables 25W wireless charging speeds from a 5,000mAh travel battery when plugged into external power.
Kickstand Support
Integrated folding kickstand allows magnetic phone mounting in portrait and landscape orientations.
Multi-Device Charging Station and Wall Power
Alongside the travel battery, Peak Design introduced a $99.95 Wireless Charging Station 2-in-1 built from die-cast aluminum and zinc. It features a pair of wireless pads capable of delivering 25W simultaneously, with an adjustable arm that folds flat for travel.
To power these devices, the company released a $64.95 Dual Slim Charger utilizing GaN technology. Measuring just a half-inch thick, it delivers up to 65W across two USB-C ports.

Most accessories are scheduled to launch immediately, though the Wireless Kickstand Travel Battery and select UltraStrand cable lengths will arrive a few days later in early November.
UltraStrand Cables
Available in lengths up to 2 meters with options spanning 60W up to 240W power delivery.
Phased Release
Initial items launch immediately, with the travel battery and specific cable lengths rolling out shortly after.
Why It Matters
Peak Design's entry into the wireless charging market highlights a growing consumer desire for durable, premium-tier gadget accessories. By implementing emerging standards like Qi2.3 and advanced gallium nitride power delivery, the company is positioning itself against established accessory makers. While the higher price points may deter budget-conscious buyers, the focus on repairable longevity, lifetime guarantees, and refined industrial design signals a maturing market for everyday tech infrastructure.
